Located in Gloucester County, New Jersey, we provide CPR and First Aid Training in the Southern New Jersey and nearby Pennsylvania and Delaware areas. We offer hands-on training for clubs, businesses, individuals, community service campaigns and more. We will also work with your personnel to enhance your current safety-training program. Available training includes:

Good Samaritan: A basic 2-hour introduction to First Aid and how to respond to an emergency.
Standard First Aid and CPR: An OSHA compliant course suitable for employees and the general community.
Infant and Child First Aid and CPR: Training in emergency care, injury prevention, and CPR for infants and children.
CPR Only: Adult; Child; Infant.
First Aid Only.
Professional Rescuer CPR: A "certification" course for health care providers, first response individuals, police, and athletic trainers.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training: For employees and others with infectious material exposure. This class eligible for NJ OEMS Training funds - may be FREE to you if quafified!!
Public Access AED (Automated External Defibrillation) training.
Emergency Oxygen Administration
Periodic re-training in CPR and First Aid.

Student manuals or handouts are provided for all courses.

What Happened?: From the signs and symptoms, they probably suffered a heart attack - and cardiac arrest. Your friend has just died.

What do you do? First, assess the patient -

Unresponsive? IMMEDIATLY call 911 (or your local emergency number) and get an ambulance, a defibrillator and medical professional in route to you.
Then treat what you find - in this case, you will probably have to perform CPR

How long do you have?: About 4-6 minutes. If you don't get oxygenated blood circulating to your co-worker's brain and other body organs in that time, they are guaranteed to stay dead.

Cardiac Arrest: "The Big One" - The heart STOPS.

Heart Attack: The death of heart muscle. Usually due to heart disease. As a result of a lack of blood flow to carry oxygen to the cells of heart muscle, the muscle dies - and the ability of the heart to pump blood is lost.

Defibrillator: A device used to intervene in a cardiac arrest. It is used to pass a pulse of electricity through the heart - a TREATMENT for the primary forms of cardiac arrest

CPR: Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation. Breathing for the patient by blowing air into their lungs and then manually pressing on the chest to squeeze the heart and force the blood to circulate through the lungs and to the vital organs of the body. CPR is not a treatment for cardiac arrest - it simply buys time for a defibrillator and advanced medical care to arrive.
