Condensed Minutes for October 23, 2002

The following is a condensed version of the Oct . meeting. The following is not intended to be complete or a  legal representation of  activities at this meeting.

  1. Dan Arnold made a presentation from JAN Communications on services and equipment.

  2. Pam McEvoy the new nurse manager at KMH was in attendance to answer questions and talked about the new ER to open in Feb. 2003

  3. Advisory board-  Out of service information to be given to dispatch in writing, fax, or E-mail.   Still working on response plan for non response of ambulances to critical care calls.

  4. Old business

    • Still need E-mail addresses to send info of meetings or other updates.

    • C-PAP demos to be done by areas. Schedule not finalized.

    • Task force paper work still needed from many squads to remain on task force.

  5. Good of Order

    • ER door at UMH has been fixed but opens slow.

    • KED is standard of care with neck and back pain in an accident
