The following is a condensed version of the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance And Rescue association Dec 2002 meeting. The following is not complete or to be considered a legal version of the activities of this meeting.
  1. EMS council
    • UMH will be giving a workshop on divert and bypass criteria.
    • Small Pox vaccine may be available in about 6 Months.
    • EMS trailer is still being worked on. No date for putting in service.

  2. Old business
    • Still need paper work from some squads for task force.
    • C-PAP training after first of the year. No schedule yet.
    • New EMT-s will be National cert. Trained and certified. 2 Yr. Cert.
      Recerts will still be NJ cert. With 3Yr. Cert.
    • Still working on dispatch protocol with delayed or no response by squad on life threat calls.
    • KED still considered standard of care for back and neck pain in an accident. Discussion of delayed time for removal and transport to hosp.

  3. Present officers re-elected for 2003

  4. Life support is asking for squads to have and relay basic vital signs upon their arrival.

  5. KMH is asking to limit linen and consumables to a one for one exchange.

  6. Jan. meeting possibly at KMH- to be confirmed

  7. Feb. meeting at Sewell 22-49- to be confirmed
