The following are the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance And Rescue association February 2003 meeting.
February 26, 2003
The February meeting was called to order at 1932 hours by president Holmstrom at Washington Township Hall (Station 10-9). We were welcomed by Ronda Schaffer. Ten Squads signed in on the roll sheet.
On motion by Washington seconded by Woodbury, minutes accepted as read.
Treasurer’s report approved on motion by Monroe seconded by Washington.

- Advisory Board:
- The Q.E.D. system died during Saturday’s heavy rain. The New World system, which was running as back-up for test purposes was put on line in its' place. This was not scheduled to be operational until April.
- System was flooded with calls when an “Amber Alert” resulted in a “Civil Emergency” banner to be displayed on cable T.V. screens.
- A high Capacity uninterruptible power supply is to be added to the Center. This will provide supply protection for the facility.
- A new server will replace the current one, the current server will be installed in Clarksboro as back-up.
- Web Page: No information on Smallpox.
- Power Point demonstration given on printout from New Worlds System. This showed the placement of run times. Information to be deleted was indicated. Monthly report data, which can be tailored to squads needs will be available shortly. (peak call hours, call percentages, etc).
- Task Force:
- Recommendations for Task Force presented. There will be 15 ambulances and 5 rescues total. Motion made by Glassboro, seconded by Washington to send list to County. Motion approved.
- Municipal Drill which will require Task Force will be held in May

- Kennedy held walk-thru of the new E.D. Open house tomorrow. After opening they will have a conference with squad captains to discuss any problems. County line to be installed
- Question: Could a laser printer be installed in hospital for run times?
- Glassboro holding O2 refilling certification class April 26. Cost is $50
