The following is a condensed version of the January 2004 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association. Only the bound version of the minutes is to be considered the legal version of these minutes.

 

The meeting was called to order by President Bill Holstrom at 1940 Hrs.
at station 28-1.
  • The minutes of the Dec. meeting were accepted as posted on the web site.
  • Installation of Officers was performed by Mayor Pelocz of Pitman
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking - $7474.33
    • Bills
      • Post office box- $26.00
      • First Due - $999.00
      A motion to pay bills was made
  • Correspondence
    • Advisory from the County Health regarding Ricen precautions was distributed.
  • Committee Reports
    • Training
      • Advisory from the County Health regarding Ricen precautions was distributed
      • County I.D. badge has been selected for all emergency responders. Appointments will be set for photos and personal information. Personal information will only be accessible at hospitals. Badge will indicate community and principle response field.
    • EMT - Squads will be requested to supply a burn sheet and some dressings to help stock trailer.
  • Communication Advisory Board
    • FCC license must be issued for each dataterminal in operation
    • Question about ability for fire and ambulance to communicate directly with police. Squad input is requested.
    • In case of entrapment a signal should be given for radio silence so I.O.C. can organize rescue effort.
  • Old Business
    • The mass Casualty Incident Management Course scheduled for April 17-18 will be paid for by Valero Refinery
  • Good of the Order
    • Underwood renovation has been delayed due to underground utility services.
  • Next meeting to be held at Mantua Fire House Feb. 26
