The Meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association was brought to order at 19:30 by President Bill Holmstrom.
  • There were 16 member squads in attendance.
  • The minutes were posted on the web site with Woodbury Hgts. making a motion to accept.  The motion was seconded by East Greenwich.

      • The final reading of the By-laws was done with minor changes being put in place.  Gibbstown made a motion to accept the By-laws as changed with a second by Glassboro.  All in attendance approved
    • EMS council
      • A draft was passed out for G.C. BLS Special Operation unit with the members asked to make application to support the unit.
    • Radio Advisory- no meeting
    • EMS Task Force
      • Have County dispatch notify Emergency Management when squads are called for task force operation.
      • All task force members must have VHF radio in their rig.
      • Task force trailer will be ready for use in three to four weeks.
    • EMT Training
      • Salem core course- Oct. 15,16, & 17.
      • UMH core course- Nov. 9, 10, 11, & 12
  • Unfinished Business
    • Life Threat Dispatch Policy
      • A letter was sent to chief dispatcher Icona.  He will be at the next monthly meeting.  A committee will be set up to review the policy.
    • A question was asked if member squads could get a list of attendees to the Weapons of Mass Destruction course.  Pending.
    • What is status of County I.D. tags.
  • New business
    • Need nomination committee
    • The first of the year vehicle inspection for the Task Force members will begin.
    • Glassboro has opted out and Pitman will replace them on the task force.
    • Psyche patient treatment draft being reworked for review at the next meeting.
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH
      • Renovations coming slowly.
      • Complaint of no one to give report to of incoming patient.
    • KMH
      • Equipment not being cleaned.
      • Triage problem- Squads getting the run around. Main door to ER being replaced.
    • Elmer- Nothing
    • Salem- New door code 411
  • Meeting was adjourned at 21:30 hrs.
