The following is a condensed version of the minutes of the March 2005 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association. Only the bound version of the minutes is to be considered the legal version of these minutes.

 

The meeting was called to order by President Bill Holmstrom at 19:30 Hrs. at Monroe Amb/Rescue (Sqd 29-4).  Warren Stewart welcomed us.
  • Minutes of the February meeting were read and accepted.
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking:  $1711.13
    • CDs:  $7571.41
    • Bills: None
  • Correspondence
    • None
  • Reports
    • EMS Council:  No Meeting
    • Advisory Board:  Nothing
    • Trustees:  Nothing
    • EMS Task Force:  3/22 - Incident in Egg Harbor Township
      • 35-40 minute response
      • Recalled after reaching the expressway
      • Discussion on protocols, responders, staging areas, etc.
      • SOPs to be sent to the Communications Center
      • Committee to meet ASAP
      • Revisions (if necessary) will be made at next month's meeting
      • New forms need to be completed - updating responder information
    • Training
      • Drill - Next month - No Info
      • Triage Tags - pick up at the MICU building; Notices sent to squads.
    • EMT
      • Salem finishes next week - 30 students
      • Washington Township - Core 13 4/21-22-23-24 pm;
      • Clayton - Peds Class 7-10, 4/5/05 3 CEUs

 

  • Unfinished Business
    • MCI Trailer:  Waiting for mounting rails then will go into service.
    • Logan needs help pulling their trailer
    • EMS added to grant $ (from JEMS conference)
    • Ken to contact A.J. Heightman - RE: fall class
    • JEMS next year:   Baltimore
    • LMA airways will be available for use soon

      • "Family Room" now two bed area in Fast Track area
      • Rooms are being renovated - will impact ER

      • Squads must stop at Desk - not go to Express Care or Acute Care without escort by nurse

      • Accommodating but getting busy
    • EMS Council - Looking into way PA is handling divert system - will tell squad best facility to use.
