The following is a copy of the May 25, 2005 meeting minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association.  This shall not be considered the legal or binding minutes of this meeting.  Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal copy of these minutes.

 

The meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue association was called to order by President Bill Holmstrom at 19:40 hrs.
  • 14 Squads were in attendance.
  • The minutes of the last meeting as posted were accepted by Center City and seconded by Woodbury Hgts
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking:  $7571.41

    • EMS council
      • Meeting next Tues.
      • Mass casualty trailer ready if needed.
    • Radio advisory-
      • The communications center has installed an uninterruptible power supply.
      • Directional amplifier has arrived to be installed at the mall.  Mall Management would like a different antennae.
      • Lightning protection still working but nearly complete.
      • Career EMS captains are requesting a seat on the board.  Discussion found that current representation allows adequate input.  This would open door for request by union groups wanting representation.
    • EMS task Force
      • Copies of sops made available at meeting.
      • Staging officer notification being addressed.
    • Training
      • List of classes for Salem Made available.
      • Gloucester County list of summer and fall classes available at medic building
  • Unfinished Business
    • Psychological protocols have been received.
    • County ID still working, some squads need to be done
    • County task force will not change at this time.
    • State task force still being revisited.
    • The body feels that 2 squads are needed for each task force.
  • New business
    • National registry test will be replaced with standard NJ EMT test.
    • LSU #4 will run for 30 more days to gather more info.
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH- parking garage done and ER addition moving along.
    • KMH- squads complaining about triage procedure

  • Woodbury Hgts made motion to adjourn at 20:25 and second by Cecil
  • Next meeting to be Sept 28, at west Deptford. Location to be 1000 Riverwinds Drive at the Riverwinds Community Center
