The following is a copy of the September 28, 2005 minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association.  Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.

 

The meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association was called to order by President Bill Holstrom at 19:40 Hrs.
  • The minutes posted on the web site were approved, motion by Woodbury Heights and second by E. Greenwich.
  • There were 14 Squads in attendance
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking:  $7,444.07
    • C.D.:  $1,725.54
    • East Greenwich made a motion to accept with a second by Center City.
    • Bills:   Digby Systems for web page- $100.00
  • Correspondence
    • ETC sent notice of up coming classes, schedule available for all interested.
  • Reports
    • By Laws- No report
    • EMS council- Vehicle antitheft run switches are available through Vanmeter for installation. Free to all ambulances.
    • EMS Drill- To be held at Cross Keys Airport on Oct. 6 at 6:30 PM. K. Wildermuth is contact person.
    • Task Force drill- County drill to be held at Valero Refinery on Oct 15
    • Radio Advisory
      • Tom Butts reported the omni directional antenna is being tested at Deptford Mall, base station is installed at Deptford MUA.
      • Motorola canopy system to be installed.
      • Alternative dispatch site in place of Shady Lane home in progress.
      • 911 equipment support grant of $4,000 capital budget was submitted.
      • $2,000 was requested for support of county canteen.
    • Training
      • NIMS training will be required for all emergency response personnel and emergency management responders.
      • ICS-100 will be required for all emergency responders by 12-30-2005.
      • ICS-200 will be required for all emergency responders by 12-30-2006.
      • CS-300 will be required of all middle management strike team leaders by 12-30-2007.  Contact Ed Johnson at the dispatch center for more info and training.
    • Two decon trailers are now available.
    • I-700 class is required by all emergency personnel and can be done on line at http://www.njlearn.com.
  • New business
    • Flu shot schedule to begin in late Oct.
    • Nominating committee needed for 2006
    • A request to open a portion of the veterans cemetery for Fire, EMS, and Police.
    • Acadia Ambulance asking for EMT’s. Contact K Wildermuth for info.
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH- working on the registration at the ER to eliminate delays.
    • KMH- Ambulances please use linens across from equipment room.
    • Elmer – No report
  • Adjournment motion by Woodbury Heights and second by Center City.
