The following is a copy of the November 2, 2005 minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Assoc. Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.
The meeting was brought to order by Bill Holstrom at 19:35 hrs.
  • The minutes of the Sept. meeting were approved as posted on the web site.
  • Roll Call: 13 squads were in attendance
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking: $7214.49
    • Savings: $1729.57
    • Motion to accept was made by Woodbury Heights and second by E. Greenwich.
    • Bills: $230.50 was submitted for food for taskforce drill.
  • Correspondence
    • None
  • Reports
    • By-laws: None
    • EMS council: None
    • Radio Advisory: None
    • Trustees: Nothing
    • EMS task force drill at Cross Keys went well, as did the Valero drill.
    • Training: I-200 at the fire Academy on Dec. 9 & 10.
  • Unfinished Business
    • A letter sent to Tom Butts about problem getting I.D. cards for ambulance personnel.
    • Road construction still going on at entrance to Cooper Hospital from 676.
  • New Business
    • Joe Nealy from the county 911 system made a presentation on the new paging system that is available to the general public, Squads, and Fire personnel for emergency notification. One person from each facility will be responsible for receiving training and implementing it in their own facility.
    • Questions by Harrison Squad if south star won’t fly if another ship would be available, discussion followed.
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH: Construction still going on and minimal problems encountered.
    • KMHW: Complaints that nurses stand around and ignore in coming ambulance people with patient on stretcher. Not all squads experienced this problem.
  • Woodbury Heights made a motion to adjourn at 20:10 Hrs and second by Mantua Twp.
  • The next meeting will be held at Station 23-1 Harrison Twp. On Dec.14
