The following is a copy of the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance And Rescue Association for Dec. 14 2005. Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal version of these minutes.
The Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association was called to order at 19:35 hrs. by Pres. Bill Holmstrom
  • Roll Call: 10 squads were in attendance.
  • Minutes: Minutes as posted on the internet were approved by a motion from Center City and seconded by Logan Twp.
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking: $7,215.40
    • Savings: $1,729.57
    • Bills: None
  • Correspondence
    • None
  • Reports
    • By-laws: None
    • EMS Council:
      • Life support 4 is still in service, trying to make this a permanent assignment.
      • Valero drill went well.
      • UMH construction still on going. The remaining part of the parking lot will soon be closed for construction work. In Feb. or March a temporary entrance will be at the old MICU/training area.
      • Some squads still need ID’s done.
      • The state will be changing the ID system for C.E.U. classes and other class identifiers. S.S.# will no longer be prime identifier.
      • North task force is almost complete, still working on south task force.
      • New CPR standards are coming soon, the changes are available through the AHA web site. The web site is www.americanheart.org a link to the new standards is at this site. They will be implemented in the spring as soon as training material is available.

  • Unfinished Business
    • Woodbury Hgts. made a motion and the secretary cast a ballot to elect all present officers to the positions they now hold, with a second by Wenonah.
    • Construction still on going at the exit from 676 to cooper hosp.
    • Construction continues on Rt. 45 at the turnpike overpass.
  • New Business
    • The state wants to put GPS locators in all ambulances, assembly bill A-3209. It has not been passed at this time.
  • Good of the Order
    • Cold weather is upon us, take care and be prepared.
    • If you are bringing in a small child for treatment from an auto accident please bring the car seat.
    • If you are having problems communicating over the radio with JFK, please document the day and time and let Ann Marie from Kennedy know.
    • The linen cart at JFK is now in the hall opposite triage area.
    • The squads are asking that UMH restock the outer closet near entrance with linens again, you now have to walk completely through the ER to get linens.
