January meeting of the Gloucester county Ambulance & Rescue Association was called to order 1930 hrs on Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 with 13 squads present. Welcome by Al Dicke, Captain Clayton Ambulance Corp.
- Meeting agenda suspended to swear in 2006 officers of association by Mayor Cannon (motion; 1st Paulsboro (Trumball), 2nd Glassboro (Wildermuth)).
- Minutes approved as posted on webpage for December 2005 meeting (motion; E Woodbury Hts (Nolan), 2nd Centre City (Greco))
- Wendy Carey from County Bio-Terrorism was present to discuss use of antibiotics in case of Bio-hazard. Forms were sent out to the squads in previous months by local OEM for general head count. Any further 307-7100.

- EMS Council:
- John Feltes discussed Psychiatric screening document; will be on line to be downloaded by squads to further review.
- Still have some squads that have not yet had Kill-Switches installed in squads. (If installed, download complete and return this form)
- LS-4 in service now.
- ID Card reader in service at UMU ER by security desk.
- ICS100-700 must be completed by next year.
- EMS video complete and copy to be shown at end of meeting
- Radio Advisory Bd. Discussion on alternate dispatch site at old Shady Lane Facility, next meeting to discuss February 21st.
- Trustees: After meeting, need to meet with Treasurer to audit 2005 books
- EMS Task Force: discussion on potential drill this spring
- Training:
- Various faxes regarding numerous trainings at Fire Academy: Vehicle Anatomy, WMD, ICS 200/300/& 700.
- EMT: PHTLS (Washington Twp) February 10,11,12th
- Core weekend (Gloucester County College) March 23,24,25,26th

- Dennis Kappler, new Chief Dispatcher of Communications introduced self and answered any questions/concerns regarding Fire/Ambulance dispatch.

- UMH: still working on linen shortage
- KMHW:
- Don Trauger from Kennedy advised that All patients brought into the ER must be seen by the Charge Nurse initially.
- Also, any smoking outside iao of
ambulances, please use receptacles for disposing of butts.
- Don was asked if wheelchairs could be in hallway just inside doors but advised probably not.
