The following is a copy of the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association for the September 27, 2006 meeting. Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting

 

The Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Assoc. meeting was called to order by Bill Holmstrom at 19:35 hrs at Gibbstown Ambulance Hall.

Roll Call- 17 Squads were in attendance

  • Minutes - The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted by a motion made by Center City Ambulance and seconded by Woodbury Heights as posted on the Web site.
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking account $6819.32
    • Bills - Digby’s web master $100.00 Center City made a motion to pay the bill and second by Woodbury Heights.
  • Correspondence
    • Notice of continuing education credits from ETC & Less Stress Instructional Services
    • Suspension of meeting for presentation of information for possible countywide EMS service. Information only with no action to be taken
  • Reports
    • Bylaws- nothing
    • EMS council
      • Psyc plan was reviewed by Council.
      • Heart safe community CPR by UMH.
      • Family practice building to be removed to provide additional parking for the ER.
      • Recommendation that all squads update to the new CPR standards.U
    • Radio advisory board - Oct 14, Emergency Management drill
    • EMS task force - If you send a squad to an assignment make sure it is properly staffed. The county plan for the task force is done.
  • Training
    • I-200 and I-300 classes and the county facility
    • GCOEM to present on Oct 14 a county wide drill on distribution of emergency medications in the event of a biological release, to 1st responders.
  • Unfinished Business
    • Puppy mask were provided to the county for distribution to squads.
  • New Business
    • A member of Gibbstown squad was appointed to head the nomination committee.
    • Flu vaccine is free to EMT’s and available soon
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH - Entry to the ER from Tatum street is restricted. Changes weekly.
    • KMHW - Still looking for a nurse manager.
    • Elmer - nothing
    • Crozier hosp. - New ER open. Logan squad has a room in their building for equipment that will contain equipment returned from cozier for Gloucester County.
  • Adjournment - Woodbury Heights made a motion to adjourn and second by Center City. at 19.55 Hrs
