The following is a copy of the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association for the October 25, 2006 meeting. Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting

 

The Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Assoc. meeting was called to order by Bill Holmstrom at 19:42 Hrs at the New Field ambulance Hall.

 

Roll Call- 7 Squads were in attendance

  • Minutes - The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted by a motion made by Center City Ambulance and seconded by Wenonah ambulance as posted on the Web site.
  • Opening statement was made by Harry Purdy of New Field
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking account $6720.16
      Interest $0.84
    • Bills - None
  • Correspondence
    • Training notices- NJ is recommending ICS-200 in a classroom setting.  It is available online
  • Training
    • ICS-200 on Nov. 17 & 18 at Fenwick- Salem county
    • ICS-300 on Dec. 16 & 23 at Fenwick- Salem county
  • Reports
    • Bylaws- Nothing
    • EMS council -Nothing
    • Radio Advisory Board - No Meeting
    • EMS task force - Nothing
  • Unfinished Business
    • Puppy masks were provided to the county for distribution to squads.  Dog mask are two sizes and each ambulance was given once set of each.
    • Flu shot vaccinations are now available throughout the county and are free to BLS providers
    • EMS regionalization - no meeting until Nov.
    • Recognition plaque for Jim Richmann not done, motion by Wenonah and 2nd by Cecil to recognize Ann Marie Frazier- KMH Nurse Manager
  • New Business - None
  • Nomination of officers - All existing officers were nominated to present office
  • Good of the Order
    • UMH - Jim Bocca will replace Paul Lambert.  New ER not available until after Jan.1, 07.  Temporary entrance will then be old nurse ed. Entrance.
    • KMHW - Still looking for a nurse manager.  Equipment for 22-8 not found
    • Elmer - Nothing
    • Crozier hosp. - New ER open.  Logan squad has a room in their building for equipment that will contain equipment returned from cozier for Gloucester County
    • Safety Notice- Hydroflouric acid being stolen and splashed on various equipment as mischief, Calcium gluconate only treatment of value.

  • Next meeting December 13, 2006 at Paulsboro Community ambulance at 19:30 Hrs.
