The following is a copy of the minutes of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association for the December 20, 2006 meeting. Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting. |

The Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Assoc. meeting was called to order by Bill Holmstrom at 19:40 Hrs at the Paulsboro ambulance Hall.
Roll Call- 10 Squads were in attendance
- Minutes - The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted by a motion made by Center City Ambulance and seconded by Westville ambulance as posted on the Web site.

Treasurers Report
- Checking account $6720.16
- Bills - Motion to pay Post office when due before next meeting. Motion to accept by Mantua Twp Ambulance and 2nd by Paulsboro

- Training notices- Training notice from ETC made available to be reviewed by all.

- EMS Council- no report
- Radio Advisory- meeting cancelled no report
- EMS task force - Meeting to be scheduled for after Jan. 1
- Trustees- No report
- EMS regionalization
- Last meeting Nov21
- Expecting to get consulting bids and fact finding by next meeting.
- Next meeting after Jan 1.
- A field trip to Prince George county Maryland to review a working county EMS system.
- Training
- Training Classes for terror threats continue to be offered by Gloucester County fire Academy
- Reminder- I-200, I-300, I-400 for 2007 dead line as per State recommendations.
- EMT class graduated 43 students on Dec. 17.
- I-200 can be taken from FEMA online but no continuing ed credits will be awarded

- Unfinished Business
- Flu vaccine recommended
- Plaques to be presented at next months meeting, Jim Richman and Ann Marie Frazier.
- Puppy mask still available from Bill Holmstrom
- Underwood Psyche policy to be distributed to individual squads in the near future.

- Election of Officers- A motion was made for the secretary to cast a ballot for all unopposed offices- motion by Paulsboro, Russell Trimble and 2nd by Mantua Twp. Ambulance, Shirley Zane. Passed
|
- New Business
- The new Field Communication Vehicle is delivered and will be in operation sometime in Feb. New unit to be more practical for field communications.
- Number changes at county
- Harrison EMS from 23-1 to 23-9.
- Cecil EMS from 29-5 to 29-7
- EMS command to clean up radio terms to be in line with NIMS.
- New equipment and upgrades going on at the dispatch center to address ergonomic concerns, please be patient during changes.
- Large incident info- please mark stretchers with squad numbers at head and foot.
- Any one going to paperless chart system can contact Jim Tucker at Westville.

- UMH- no report. Some equipment still coming back not cleaned, is new ER going to provide Internet access with wireless for squads.
