The following is a copy of the minutes of the Feb 1, 2007 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association. Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting. |

The meeting was opened at 7:45 PM by Bill Holmstrom. An opening statement was made by Paul Lambrecht. Introduced to those present were Jim Bocca - Director of EMS, Beth Mcfarland, Nadene Carluzzo, and Kathy Forst. The ER is to open in phases - 12 to 18 months to completion with 40 beds. It was reported that 54,000 patients were treated in 21 beds last year.
- Minutes - Motion to accept minutes of last meeting were made by Center City and second by Paulsboro.

- State looking into Epi Pens for squads. OK for any Doctor to write prescription, some info on the state web-site.

- Task force- 9/22- school bus in center of county
- EMS regionalization - Prince George county and Prince Charles county did this 5 Yrs. Ago; both counties incorporate volunteer and paid status. Visiting Washington D.C. for input from that area. Hoping to have a plan by March 2007. Surveys have been received, any changes let Cheryl know.

- Unfinished Business
- County ID's expired. Most squads taking own pictures
- EMS council agenda to check into everyone affected.
- Packets from squads, info from last year, fill out and return delegate list. Packets will include: EMS survey, Delegate list, Meeting schedule, and web-site info.
- Squad web-sites complete current info and send to Bob Diaz, Digby Systems for updates.
- Announcements for the County web-site should be sent to Bill Holmstrom to forward to Bob Diaz.

- State First Aid Council
- Required by law to allow paid squads
- Discussion on blue lights, it is now the law to pull over for blue light or a ticket can be issued, copy of law to be posted on web-site. Question was asked how will the public be notified of this law?
