The following is a copy of the minutes of the February 28, 2007 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association. Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.

 

The meeting was called to order at 19:32 hours by president Bill Holmstrom at Pitman Fire Co. No. 1(station 28-1). A welcoming statement was by Lt. Ryan Keepers. After the flag salute a minute of silence was observed for Fred Kopatch.
  • Minutes - The January minutes accepted as posted on the web site.
  • Treasurers Report
    • Treasurer’s report was accepted as read with an ending balance of $6,555.16.
  • Correspondence - Delegate list and notice of corporate fee due was received.
  • Reports
    • Communication Advisory Board
      • Tom butts stated that a dispatcher was indicted for a 2nd misdemeanor.
      • The Center has been granted permission to use fiber-optic cable with excess capacity.
      • The county has procured a truck as CBERN support vehicle.
      • A new generator is slated for north site to replace under sized unit.
      • Monroe PD. May join central dispatch
    • Ambulance & Rescue
      • When will ID’s be available? Chief officer must call Cathy Henry with assurance that all members listed are still active.
    • By-Laws - No meeting
  • Training
    • The fire training academy has a continuing schedule of classes. Core 13 scheduled at Pitman #1 March 10-13.
  • Trustees- Audit of books tonight.
  • First Aid Council- Considering admitting paid non-profit squads.
  • Unfinished Business
    • County I.D.s, squad chief officer should contact Cathy Henry to assure her that names submitted are current active members.
  • New Business
    • Many job position changes at communications center. Change in nomenclature: Power wagons now called Brush Trucks
  • Good of the Order
    • Kennedy has gone paperless, getting pt. Face sheet problematic.
  • Meeting adjourned at 20:12 hours. Next meeting Washington Twp. March 28.
