The following is a copy of the minutes of the March 28,2007 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Ass. Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.

 

The meeting was called to order at 1932 hours by President Holmstrom at the Washington Twp. Ambulance Hall ( Station 10-9 ). A welcoming statement was made by Chris Vasile.
  • Minutes - The February minutes accepted as posted on the web site.
  • Treasurers Report
  • Correspondence - Some delegate lists have been received.
  • Reports
    • Communication Advisory Board: No Meeting
    • By-Laws: No meeting
  • Training
    • Communications Center can provide assistance with required training.
  • Trustees: Audit completed, report satisfactoy
  • First Aid Council: Considering admitting paid non-profit squads.
  • Unfinished Business
    • E.M.S. regionalization: Six to ten strategic zones are proposed, each would be staffed with two units. Crews would be available for public relation activities during down time. Communities would have the option to participate or not.
    • Twenty-two applications for EMS Coordinator have been received.
    • A long discussion ensued, many felt that this would mean the end of many squads, some of which receive no public funding. This also could cause this organization to no longer exist.
    • New County I.D’s should be received soon.
  • New Business - None
  • Good of the Order
    • Kennedy has gone paperless, still some bugs in the system.
    • Underwood to be inspected soon for temporary E.R. operating certificate.

  • Meeting adjourned at 20:51 hours. Next meeting to be at Logan Twp. On Apr. 25 at 49 Coontown Rd.
