The following is a copy of the minutes of the February 27, 2008 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association.  Only the bound book copy shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.

 

The meeting was opened at 1933 hrs. by President Bill Holmstrom at station 28-1 with nine squads in attendance.

  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking- $6439.91
    • Outstanding check- $25.00 incorporation fee
  • Committee Reports

       

    • EMS, Trustees, and Radio committees - No Report
    • EMS Regionalization- National Park and Greenwhich Twp. to Join County system.
  • EPI-Pen
    • Cooper's Medical director is Dr. Rick Hong. Training and use information available from Cooper free of charge.
  • Motion on membership
    • Woodbury Heights made a motion to admit members of disbanded squads as nonvoting associate members
  • Tri Data Report
    • Volunteers are discouraged, emergency services need to be expanded and there is no state medical Director to guide services, education, research and training. Changes to state regulations are recommended.
  • Bylaws:  
    • Revisions approved
      • 6 meetings per year and a 6-squad attendance for quorum. Motion made by Woolwich and second by Woodbury Heights.
  • Good of the order
    • Kennedy Hosp. Installing new computer system, date of completion unsure.
    • UMH white blankets are for squads- blue blankets are off limits.
  • Next meeting to be April 23, 2008 at Woolwich Main Station at 17:30 hrs.
