The following is a copy of the minutes of the April 23, 2008 meeting of the Gloucester County Ambulance and Rescue Association.  Only the bound book copy of these minutes shall be considered the legal minutes of this meeting.

 

President Bill Holmstrom called the meeting to order at 19:35 hrs at the Woolwhich Fire house.  

  • Minutes - Minutes posted on the internet were approved as read, motion by Mantua and a second by Wenonah.
  • Treasurers Report
    • Checking- $6,315.94
    • C.D's- $1,926.22
    • Swedesboro made a motion to accept the report and second by Westville.
    • Bills- none
  • Committee Reports
    • By-laws- Revised by-laws in place with a copy to be mailed out and posted on the web site.
    • EMS Council- No report
    • Radio Advisory- Letter of resignation from Don Banks and Tom Newman.
    • Trustees- None
    • EMS Taskforce- Updates will take place to remove Station 8-9 National Park from the task force.
    • EMS Regionalization- Squads 21-9 Gibbstown and squad 8-9 National Park have joined the county system.
    • Training
      • County training at Clayton, breathing problems, 8 AM & 7 PM
      • April 24. I-400 at the fire academy-check with fire academy
  • Unfinished business.
    • A request for list of delegates and alternates from squads will be sent out shortly with a meeting schedule.

     

  • New Business- None
  • Good of the order
    • UMH- Progress on construction
    • KMH- EMS dinner Wed. May 21,2008. (NOTE- - CORRECTED TO MAY 22, 2008)
    • Elmer- ENS radio not working and on going construction at hospital.
    • Senator Madden proposed a bill for a 24Hr. hotline for fire and EMS personnel. Through department of Health and Senior services.
    • Question brought up about county ambulance service and coverage in the south end of the county, no answer at this time.
  • A motion to adjourn made by South Harrison and second by Mantua. Adjournment at 20:00 hrs.

     

  • Next meeting to be June 18 at South Harrison Municipal Building at 19:30 Hrs.
